Over the past two weeks, the following players and strudents of mine have done something noteworthy! THEY WON A GOLF TOURNAMENT! I would like to congratulate the following:

• Arianna Furry with a 76!
• Grant Godsen won two one-day tournaments, each time shooting a 76 at only 12 years old!
• Noreen Caparuso won her Junior club Championship with an 86 and first time breaking 90!
• Dan Caparuso also won his Club Championship for the third time in a row with a 73, 72 and won by 5 shots!
• David Mears - He and his partner won the Summer Games with a -12 over two days of competition!
• Evan Byrd won the Florida Junior Match Play the year after the winning the Florida Junior Medal Play!
• And last but not least...Katie Hodal. Once again, and for the 6th time in 7 years, won Club Championship at Buffalo Grove with a 153 total - only 1 over par!

I could not be prouder of the above students, because not only are they good students, but they are hard workers! WInning at golf is very difficult and all of these students have proven that they are winners!

To all of my students, keep working hard and hopefully in the near future, you'll be in the news as well!
